I live in Florida, so my parents went in to see the car and work on a deal. At first it seemed great. Price came in where we wanted it to, with all the things I had wanted in the contract. Originally, my salesman, Hanna had called me and told me that my Loan would be over 60 months at a certain Interest Rate...then they found a lower rate for me. All he needed was my down payment. All the fun started once the down payment was placed. Down payment was made and the contracts were sent down to me in Florida...when I got the contract, to my surprise, it was a 72 Month Loan. I called and Hanna told me it was never 60 months and I must've heard that from someone else. After that conversation, Hanna tried to guilt me into the "We're not making any money on this deal." From there it proceeded to get even worse... More paperwork was sent to my house for me to review and I sent it back up immediately. The Sales Manager told me that he would put my car up for bid to ship down to me, and he would give us a few options, but wouldn't take any profit off of it. I get a phone call stating that they have a shipper but they need a check for $1,000 immediately to get the car shipped down to me. Check got sent to the dealer for that amount, only to find out that wasn't the price and it was going to be another $600+ dollars. Long story short, we found our own transport company. The car was due to go out on a Monday, so I called and left a message on the Friday prior, stating that I wanted to ensure the car had a Temp. Tags, as well as all the necessary paperwork to register the car in Florida. Never received a call back. The car left that following Monday and got down to me. We unloaded the car off the transport and there were NO TAGS on the car, no title for the car and no paperwork. I called the Sales Manager who said he would look into it. An hour and a half went by and no call back. When I called back he got short with me and told me that he was working with a lot of people to figure this out and I needed to understand. He would call me back shortly. About 15 minutes later, I got another call and he said the paperwork was in their Delivery Manager's Desk. Immediately upon turning the car on to inspect it, I had the Tire Pressure lights go on. Turns out the Rear Passenger Tire has a slow leak to it. I called the dealership again to let them know and they said it had to be the Transport service and they wouldn't be liable for it. I took the car to Firestone and came to find out that they couldn't patch the tire, because that tire already had a plug put in it, and close enough to the side wall that they wouldn't have patched it anyways. The dealership passed the inspection on the car. I asked them to reimburse me for a new tire and mounting since I would have to replace this tire and was told no, that I would have to take this up with the Transport company. Apparently, they felt the transport company knew my tire was leaking air, and patched it up while transporting it. My parents were also shown two keys for this vehicle, and upon receiving it, there was only one key and I was told there wasn't a second key, but they would look into it for me. Then, when the paperwork did arrive for the car, there was no title in it. The Temp Tag expired 4 days from the date it arrived to me, and I can't register this car without the title. I messaged the Sales Manager, who told me that he only uses his cell phone to communicate but never gave that I asked to know when the second key would be shipped down to me and when I can expect my title. In my research the dealership has 30 days from purchase date to provide the title to the new owner. In this text message exchange, I was told that he would find out the very next day on the title and call me back. I'm still waiting for that call. BBB received a formal complaint (they aren’t accredited), the NADA was called and I will be retaining counsel.
